Every spring, the Cincinnati Conservatory hosts a butterfly exhibit. My kids love to go and luckily it was going on while my parents were here for a visit. Here are a few photos from our little excursion......I am pretty sure that no butterflies were injured by my girls in the making of this post.
As you go in, they spray gatorade on your hands so that the butterflies will perch there. This worked really well until two large school groups and a senior citizens group were dropped off all at once and most of the butterflies fled quickly toward the ceiling.

How fun!
My kids never liked it when birds landed on them, but it looks much more mellow with the butterflies. We totally have to go now.
