Happy Birthday Travis!

{Thanks to my good friend, Amy, we have started this tradition.}

Here are 33 interesting facts about Travis to celebrate his 33rd birthday.

1.  He ALWAYS sings the wrong words to songs. LOUDLY.
2.  He loves having all the latest gadgets but doesn't know how to work them so well.  He relies very heavily on family members with serious know-how. (They are very thankful for caller-id) A friendly call from Travis usually ends with, "Hey, do you want to help me with ______?"
3.  He thinks that Gatorade and electrolyte-enhanced water are nectar from heaven.
4.  He is a baseball player through and through.  He played for the Puerto Rican National team in high school, college baseball in Utah, "semi-pro" here in Cincy up until a few years ago, and now puts all of his energy into coaching.
5.  He is really proud of his pecs and milk-carton calves.  He really prefers to be referred to as "Mr. Pecs"
6.  He has more friends than I can count.
7.  His cell phone is attached to his right ear.
8.  He LOVES the Kansas Jayhawks.
9.  He has been a faithful diehard fan since he lived in Kansas City when they won the National Championship in 88'.
10.  They made him very very happy this year when they won the title again.  Our fourth child, who was born on that blessed day, was almost named after Mario Chalmers.
11.  He met his idol, Ken Griffey, Jr., last week for the first time and almost hyperventilated while asking for his autograph.
12.  He thinks he can dance.
13.  He loves his dog.
14.  He always lets Halle ride with him when he mows the lawn.
15.  He is not really all that into organization.
16.  He works from home a lot and we love it.
17.  He never misses a chance to improve his kids' athletic abilities.  He is great at being tough on them when they need it and praising them for a job well done.

24.  He is very good at getting people to do what he wants them to.  As a young boy, he was known to coerce his friends into doing all of his chores for him while he relaxed, just for the honor of playing with him when they were done.
25.  Dental hygiene is very important to him.
