A Peek at our Week

Our week was filled with the usual craziness of trying to cram too many activities into too little time.  We had a lot of fun on Valentines day....I was able to attend each of the kids' school parties and now I think that they should just change the name to "Major Sugar Rush Day" because of all the sweets that were inhaled.  It was funny because Emma reminded Travis in the morning to make sure that he got some flowers for all of his girls and even referred him to flowers.com should he not be able to find them elsewhere.  He came through and made the day!  

I thought it would be fun to have chocolate fondue for dessert but it turned into Kung Fu Fondue with the skewers being used as weapons..........not the loving, fun atmosphere that I had in mind!

We had our usual Friday night movie, this time it was Air Bud(the football version) which was definitely a hit with the kids.  Today we actually had the week off from Jordan's basketball leagues so we all got to attend Emma's indoor soccer game.   She has been practicing every night with Travis in the basement on the treadmill and with shooting/strategy work.  She had an awesome game and scored two goals which was very exciting! 

Now we just have baseball practice and a Kansas game to watch tonight and we can look forward to a restful Sunday!
