For me, owning a dog is equal parts cute/gross.
Cute, because my kids love him.
Gross, because I in my old age, have become unaffected by
dogs' endearing qualities. Most dog owners love their animals
so much that cleaning up after them is not a bother. I do it for
my kids but not without the occasional (ha, ha) grumble over
shedded hair and muddy pawprints.

such a handsome dog! we don't have a dog...my kids love dogs and ask for one all the time. i guess you love your kids more than i do :)
Wow! Griffey is quite the smoocher. That is some serious tongue action. Addie is peeping over my shoulder and wants me to include that she prefers he not do that.
